Q3 2025AI Analysis

AI

Core Holdings & Strategic Adjustments

AI turns the trend chart, sector mix, and holdings table into three plain takeaways: Apple (AAPL) is still the largest position at 42.8% of the portfolio; the 1.2% trim looks more like rebalancing than a change in the long-term thesis. Berkshire's cash reserves also climbed to $157 billion. That suggests the firm is not chasing prices and is waiting for a better buying window.

Opportunity to Watch

The move worth watching is the continued build in Occidental Petroleum (OXY), now 8.7% of the portfolio. AI reads this as a higher energy exposure that may reflect confidence in long-term traditional energy cash flows.

Q3 2025AI Analysis

AI

Ownership Overview: Institutional Consensus

AI combines the ownership changes, holder scale, and flow table into one readable view: Microsoft's institutional ownership is high-end and core-focused. Only 42 institutions appear in this sample, but their total position value is about $34.8 billion, or nearly $830 million per institution. That points to large, sophisticated holders rather than short-term capital.

Institutional Moves: Divergence in Consensus

This quarter shows a clear "more selling than buying" pattern: 59.52% of institutions reduced positions while only 26.19% increased. However, this apparent bearishness needs context. BlackRock's modest trim and Capital Group's new position point to allocation divergence among large managers, not a single-direction institutional exit...

Portfolio Health Score

AI Analysis

72/100
B

Overall Assessment

AI turns the holding weights, sector benchmark, and stock-level gaps into a readable diagnosis: your portfolio health score is B (72/100), placing it in the upper-middle tier. The strength is Technology sector alignment with institutional consensus. The main risk is concentration: your top 3 holdings exceed 65%, above the recommended 50% ceiling, which can make a few stocks drive most of your volatility.

Optimization Recommendations

1. Reduce AAPL weight: Currently at 28.5%, consider trimming to below 20% 2. Add Healthcare exposure: Institutions are increasing this sector, but you have 0% allocation 3. Review TSLA position: Recent insider selling suggests caution These adjustments would bring your portfolio more in line with institutional consensus while maintaining your growth-oriented strategy.

Data Sources & Methodology

How does 13F Hub use SEC filing data?

13F Hub turns public regulatory disclosures into a research workflow, while keeping the limits of delayed filings visible.

What data does 13F Hub track?

The homepage highlights institutional holdings from SEC Form 13F filings, insider activity from public disclosures, and derived views that help compare institutions, stocks, and portfolio changes.

How should 13F data be interpreted?

13F filings are periodic disclosures, not real-time position reports. They can reveal institution-level patterns, but they may be delayed, amended, or incomplete for current trading decisions.

Which signals are covered?

13F Hub focuses on institutional portfolio changes, stock-level ownership structure, insider disclosure signals, ratings context, and AI-assisted summaries for research and education.

Primary public sources

13F Hub is built for research and education. It does not provide personalized investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, and public filings should be checked against original SEC records before making decisions.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about 13F Hub.

What is 13F data, and why should I care?
A 13F is a quarterly SEC disclosure from institutional investment managers that meet the reporting threshold. It matters because it lets you see where large professional investors have been allocating capital, which is useful for generating ideas, checking conviction, and understanding positioning. The real advantage is not copying trades mechanically, but gaining a clearer view of where serious capital has been concentrated.
How does 13F Hub save me research time?
Reading raw filings manually is fragmented. 13F Hub turns institution tracking, stock-level ownership patterns, insider activity, multi-dimensional Top 500 stock rankings built from all tracked institutions, and your own portfolio review into one connected workflow, so you can validate ideas faster and spend less time stitching data together yourself. The practical benefit is not just convenience; it is better research quality with fewer missed links between datasets.
Which institutions are most worth tracking over time?
The most useful institutions to follow usually share three traits: they rely mainly on long-only stock selection rather than hidden hedges, they hold positions for long enough that 13F delay is still informative, and they have relatively stable, credible results across multiple market cycles. Those managers make it easier to learn from portfolio changes because you are more likely to be seeing a real process and preference set instead of short-term noise.
What are the first things to read in a 13F?
Start with four pieces of information: security name, security type, share count, and quarter-end market value. Security type matters because common stock, call or put options, and convertible securities imply very different kinds of exposure. Looking at the name alone is often misleading; reading name, type, size, and value together gives you a much better sense of what the position is trying to express.
Why should I track several quarters instead of one filing?
One quarter can reflect noise, rebalancing, or temporary liquidity needs rather than a durable investment view. Looking across several quarters helps you distinguish a lasting thesis from a tactical move and see whether conviction is building or fading over time. In practice, the pattern usually matters more than the snapshot.
What exactly does Premium unlock?
Premium unlocks a deeper institutional research workflow: multi-quarter institution tracking, stock-level ownership and concentration analysis, insider trading monitoring, multi-dimensional Top 500 stock rankings built from all tracked institutions, portfolio comparison, and richer follow-up signals. The point is not to overwhelm you with more data, but to give you better continuity, faster context, and fewer manual steps between a raw clue and a confident view.
How do trial, billing, cancellation, and my data work?
Subscriptions are billed and managed through the App Store. If the current offer includes a free trial, it renews at the displayed price unless you cancel before renewal, so the key thing to watch is the renewal date shown by Apple. Canceling stops future renewal, but your personal portfolio records and synced iCloud data remain available because subscription status and personal data ownership are handled separately.
